• Usage data — carriers you look up (such as MC and DOT numbers), vettings you run, log records, and basic device/analytics data.
• Carrier data — information about motor carriers retrieved from public and third-party sources (for example, FMCSA records). This is business data about carriers, not your personal data.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Communications — messages you send us, including demo requests submitted through our forms.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Service, run carrier vettings, maintain a defensible audit record, secure accounts, communicate with you, process billing, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

• Service providers who help us run the Service — for example cloud hosting, our carrier-data sources (such as FMCSA and monitoring providers), our payment processor, and our AI provider (Anthropic) which powers the Sentry assistant.
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We provide only the information needed for each purpose, and we require our providers to protect it.

AI processing

The Sentry assistant sends relevant vetting and carrier data to our AI provider to generate answers. That data is used to respond to your request and is not used to train third-party models.

Data security

We protect data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and salted, hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit access to authorized personnel.

Data retention

We retain account and vetting records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and maintain audit records. You can request deletion as described below.

Your choices and rights
